GREEN VALLEY CHARITABLE TRUST (GVCT)

The Green Valley Charitable Trust registered in 2007 by like-minded women to provide assistance in care and rehabilitation of the mentally, physically challenged, aged, widows, deserted women, orphans, needy children and people affected by environmental hazards without differentiation. The Green Valley Charitable Trust publishes books, periodicals, magazines, construct tabloids and provide training etc., necessary to spread awareness among the public. The GVCT projects are the Little Mountain crèche, counseling, care for the aged, and care and training of special children.

VITAE is involved in not only financial support of these activities and efforts but has staff volunteer who periodically spend time with the children to encourage them with a sense of belonging.

THE COIMBATORE SPASTIC TRUST (CST)

The Coimbatore Spastic Trust is a registered charitable Trust with a vision for serving people with special needs. CST now offers early intervention services, home-management services, community based rehabilitation, vocational training, family counseling, medical intervention and residential skill training as Ashirwad Special School. CST in its journey has evolved into serving people with disability from 0- 40 years. CST has touched the lives of more than 1000 people with special needs since its beginning.

VITAE contributes to the operation of the Ashirwad Special School. VITAE has also helped renew existing infrastructure and establish a new multi-purpose community centre at the Blue Rock campsite to help individuals, both able and otherwise, for purposeful engagements for the sake of their empowerment. VITAE volunteers in value in such training programmes.

FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN (FFC)

FFC is a home in Coimbatore for the orphaned, a large part of whom are the otherwise-abled. VITAE has thought it appropriate to offer support of various kinds to FFC such as visiting the children to encourage the children giving them a sense of belonging.
